Carla Post was First Assistant District Attorney in Matagorda County and prosecuted criminal cases for eighteen years in Matagorda and Wharton counties. Carla has tried more than 300 felony cases and has the knowledge and ability to handle any type of legal problem. Carla left the District Attorneys office in June 2012, to found a private law firm with fellow criminal defense lawyer, Beverly Deadrick.  She has been licensed to practice law since 1993 in Texas and is now certified to practice law in Federal Court in the Southern District of Texas.

Carla Post and Beverly Deadrick have a combined total of more than 35 years of legal experience. Carla and Beverly practice in all area counties, including Matagorda, Brazoria, Fort Bend, Wharton, Jackson and Victoria counties.

Beverly Deadrick is a Bay City Blackcat and has been a private practicing criminal defense attorney since 1996. Beverly has significant jury trial experience over the same amount of time and has practiced and tried cases in Matagorda County, Brazoria County, Harris County and Fort Bend County.  She has tried Murder cases, Sexual Assault cases, and virtually every type of case in between.  She has been licensed to practice law since 1996 and is now certified to practice law in Federal Court in the Southern District of Texas.
